The structural design and features of the slurry valve—specifically, the valve body construction and sealing method—are as follows: Our factory’s new slurry valves come in two types: clamp-type and monolithic. The clamp-type valve body employs a composite “U”-shaped and “T”-shaped composite structure with multi-material configurations for sealing. The monolithic valve body uses an “O”-shaped composite sealing structure, which overcomes the shortcomings of the original clamp-type slurry valve, such as the tendency of the “U”-shaped sealing gasket to shift, deform, and leak media under stress.

The gate plate features a blade-like design, which effectively addresses issues such as slurry settling in the sealing groove, leading to imperfect valve closure and external leakage. The actuator options are as follows: Manual installation—simple operation, suitable for valves with smaller torque requirements. Electro-hydraulic actuator—ideal for valves with larger torque, offering adjustable force and speed, and capable of being locked in any desired position.

Slurry valves are suitable for media in the mining and iron and steel industries—used for coal slurries, filter cake slurries, and the like. Purification systems—used for wastewater, sludge, sewage, and clear water containing suspended solids. The paper-making industry—used for pulp of any concentration and for mixtures of pulp and water. The sugar industry—used for washing beet pulp, syrups, juice extraction, fruit juices, and similar applications.

Food industry—used for washing and rinsing equipment, grain conveying systems, and maltose, among others. Power plant ash removal—used for ash-slurry systems. The slurry valve is widely applicable to oil, chemical, and thermal power plants, as well as other pipelines carrying oil, water, and steam, serving as an on-off device to connect or isolate the medium in the pipeline. It features a compact structure, a rational design, excellent valve rigidity, smooth flow passages, and a low flow resistance coefficient.
