The structural configuration and features of the slurry valve—specifically, the valve body structure and sealing method—are as follows: The new type of slurry valve comes in two designs: clamp-type and monolithic. The clamp-type valve body employs a composite “U”-shaped and “T”-shaped composite structure equipped with composite materials for sealing. The monolithic valve body uses an “O”-shaped composite sealing structure. These designs address the shortcomings of the original clamp-type slurry valve, which suffered from issues such as displacement and deformation of the “U”-shaped sealing gasket under stress, as well as leakage of the medium.

The gate plate adopts a knife-type structure, which effectively addresses issues such as slurry settling in the sealing groove, leading to imperfect valve closure and external leakage. The actuator options are as follows: Manual actuator: Simple operation, suitable for valves with smaller torque requirements. Electro-hydraulic actuator: Suitable for valves with larger torque requirements; features adjustable force and speed, and allows locking at any desired position.
Slurry valves are suitable for media in the mining and iron and steel industries—used for coal slurries, filter cake slurries, and the like. They are also used in purification equipment—for wastewater, sludge, sewage, and clarified water containing suspended solids. In the paper-making industry, they are employed for pulp of any concentration as well as for mixtures of pulp and water. In the sugar industry, they are utilized for wash liquor, syrups, juice extraction, fruit juices, and similar applications.
Food Industry—used for washing and flushing equipment, grain-handling systems, and maltose, among other applications. Slurry valves are widely suitable for oil, water, and steam pipelines in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, and thermal power plants, serving as on-off control devices for media flow. These valves feature a compact structure, a rational design, excellent valve rigidity, smooth flow passages, and low flow resistance coefficients.
