Let’s take a closer look at the structural design of the slurry valve.
The structural design and features of the slurry valve—specifically, the valve body construction and sealing method—are as follows: Our factory’s new slurry valves come in two types: clamp-type and monolithic. The clamp-type valve body employs a composite “U”-shaped and “T”-shaped composite structure with multi-material configurations for sealing. The monolithic valve body uses an “O”-shaped composite sealing structure, which overcomes the shortcomings of the original clamp-type slurry valve, such as the tendency of the “U”-shaped sealing gasket to shift, deform, and leak media under stress.

Let’s talk in detail about the development trends of slide valves.
The plug valve is a type of valve that was not originally invented in China. It was introduced to China in the 1980s. Over the nearly 20 years since its introduction, it has expanded from its initial limited use in ordinary industrial sectors to now being widely adopted across all industries.

Let’s talk about the performance characteristics of knife gate valves.
The knife gate valve, also known as the knife-type gate valve, knife-gate valve, slurry valve, or mud valve, features a gate plate as its closing member. The motion direction of the gate plate is perpendicular to the flow direction of the fluid. The medium is cut off by a blade-shaped gate plate that can shear fibrous materials. The gate plate has two sealing surfaces; in commonly used designs, these two sealing surfaces form a wedge shape, with the wedge angle varying depending on the valve’s specifications—typically around 5°. In wedge-type knife gate valves, the gate plate can be made as a single piece, referred to as a rigid gate plate.

A brief introduction to the functions of a hydraulically actuated knife gate valve.
The hydraulic knife gate valve, also known as the hydraulic knife-type gate valve or hydraulic blade gate valve, connects the piston rod of a hydraulic cylinder to the valve gate. Its operating principle is as follows: By manually actuating the handle of the hydraulic pump, hydraulic oil is directed through a manual directional control valve into the upper and lower chambers of the hydraulic cylinder. The piston rod then moves up and down, driving the opening and closing of the gate and thus completing the valve’s on/off function.

Let’s talk about the performance and features of knife gate valves.
Knife gate valves are widely used in the gasification sector of coal chemical plants because, under operating conditions, they exhibit excellent resistance to special media such as solid particles and sulfur. They feature superior sealing performance and do not leak during operation. The valve core of a knife gate valve has a specially shaped V-shaped gap that ensures precise shut-off.

Detailed instructions for using the slurry valve
The structural configuration and features of the slurry valve—specifically, the valve body structure and sealing method—are as follows: The new type of slurry valve comes in two designs: clamp-type and monolithic. The clamp-type valve body employs a composite “U”-shaped and “T”-shaped composite structure equipped with advanced composite materials for sealing. The monolithic valve body uses an “O”-shaped composite sealing structure, which overcomes the drawbacks of the original clamp-type slurry valve, such as the tendency of the “U”-shaped sealing gasket to shift, deform, and leak media under stress.
